Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne : work is progressing rapidly in Chablis

The modern extension of the Cité in Chablis takes place next to the cellar of the Petit Pontigny

Five months after the laying of the first stone, work of the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Chablis is well underway: the contemporary wing, designed by Claude Correia of the Atelier Correia Architectes & Associés, located in Saulieu in Côte d’Or, is taking shape a little more each day.

This extension, in the prolongation of the Petit Pontigny cellar, will offer a singular alliance of 800 m² between modernity and historical heritage. At the same time, the teams are continuing the important work of transforming the cellar, which will host, among others, the future visit tour dedicated to the discovery of the history of the Climats and wines of Burgundy.

The coming months will be devoted to the continuation and finishing of the exterior, as well as to the interior design, including the scenographic tour with the production of all the audio-visual devices.
